Beulah has a long rich history and tradition in Western MA.  We were started by two churches in Holyoke, MA. back in 1888.  Beulah was meant to serve a growing community that had to travel by boat over the Connecticut River and then by horse and buggy to worship in the nearest community church, which was in the Highlands of Holyoke.  Beulah has served Chicopee and its surrounding communities ever since.

While we have a rich history that includes, worshipping in two different church buildings (on Chicopee St. and now at our current location) and having a world famous hymn writer and a biblical scholar as pastors, we are a church that is looking forward.  The words shared at the dedication of our first building one hundred and thirty years ago still rings true, “The truth spoken in the church is a light from God upon a dark world.” Today our goal is to be that light for those who are seeking God, as we strive to live out our mission statement: A family in Christ, walking in the Spirit, reflecting the character of the Father.

If you are looking for a place to worship, have questions, or are just curious about Jesus, then please come and visit us during one of our services. We’d love to meet you!
